Real Core Stability: What it feels like and how to get it - Workshop with Leslie DeGrande
Saturday, April 27 from 1 pm - 3pm
Costs: 25 €
How is it that we can do all kinds of tough core work but still have back pain or feel weak? Crunches, planks, and crazy core work can build core stability if they are done well, BUT they can also provide false stability when we aren’t moving well. False stability happens when we try to build strength on top of tension. And unfortunately, this is what most of us do when we work our core.
In this workshop, we will build REAL core stability! We will look at traditional core exercises as well as other movements that require core stability and explore how to:
Stabilize the core effectively and recognize if you are building real stability or not.
Move efficiently and not borrow from one part of the body in order to complete a movement in another, thus making both places weaker.
Progress movements to meet your core where it is so you can get stronger faster.
